Please can you suggest a way to set up the HX400v so that it transfers photos wirelessly to my wife's macbook Air? I bought a wifi sd adapter but still cannot connect the Camera. Play memories software will not install on Macbook Air running Big Sur OS. I cannot follow the instruction using Play Memories. Any help please? Mike Many thanks

Did you try this? One never can tell.

The camera itself should be compatible but what does it bring if the software isn't.

As a matter of fact this page confirms the incompatibility.

Hi there - why not use the SD card only?

Remove from the camera and insert into the laptop?

Hey,

As @BogheadBen said, I'd recommend using a direct transfer with your SD card, or through a card reader. Since your current IOS isn't supported.
