RX10M4 self timer.

I cannot see the point of the Self Timer settings in Drive Mode. Personally I'd like to do some time-lapse photography but just not possible with the current menu set up (or have I missed something?)

Where would one use the menu options:

Self-timer(Cont.): 10 Sec. 3 Img.

Self-timer(Cont.): 10 Sec. 5 Img.

Self-timer(Cont.): 5 Sec. 3 Img.

Self-timer(Cont.): 5 Sec. 5 Img.

Self-timer(Cont.): 2 Sec. 3 Img.

Self-timer(Cont.): 2 Sec. 5 Img.

Luckily I have a decent, programmable remote control that will allow me to do it but would be nice if the camera did it!

Hi @cheddarman

The RX10M4 self-timer mode is intentionally pretty standard stuff, basically intended for remote shooting etc, rather than time lapse. We've seen a number of requests for a dedicated time lapse function and hopefully Sony developers will pick up on them. I'd imagine this would happen long before they changed anything in the self timer menu.

Surely that could be done with a firmware update, along with a few other minor changes.

As a whole I am finding the RX10 a very capable camera now that I'm becoming more confident with it.
