RX10M3 Remote camera control

Information on the website says that bulb settings are supported with this camera but when I try to use it the Bulb setting disappears and is no longer an option. Anyone else had this problem and is there a solution.

Have you sorted this out joanmarshall?

The most common fault is not putting the camera to "M".

As you turn the control dial it takes the shutter speed all the way through it's range finally to 30" and then BULB.

The camera will have to be on a tripod for any usable pictures taken in `BULB.

Not solved, it appears I cannot use the Smart phone remote app to control the Bulb settings on this camera.

I have the RX10m4 so probably similar.

Set camera to "M" and "BULB"

Presume you are using Image Edge?

In camera menu NETWORK1 select Ctrl w/ Smartphone and turn "ON"

Open Image Image Edge

You should see this screen -

The second part ofd

the screen should show your camera. Click on that and it should take you to a live view of the camera image.....

If you get this far you're there. Slide the BULB button on phone to the left to open shutter, then to the right to shut it.
