Shooting tethered with my hx400v

Hi,

Could anyone please tell me if I can tether my hx400v to the computer when photographing

things at home? If I can then would you please tell me how to go about doing this.

I recently bought this really cheap one off Ebay - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/55mm-Digital-Lotus-Flower-Hood-Professional-Lens-Hood-for-Sony-Canon-Nikon-UK/202100787975?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 - I had to modify it by reducing the threaded part, I did this by placing some sandpaper on a flat surface and carefully moving the hood in a circular motion. Every so often I checked it on my camera until none of the hood was visible. The only down side is that there is not enough thread to use the locking ring, but the hood is perfectly stable on the lens.
