Sony A7iii shutter problems!

Hi, is anyone else experiencing mis-firing when in hi+? I have had the A7iii for just under a year and recently started shooting action at cricket etc. On more than one occasion when using the shutter at high speed it just stops there's a lag and the images captured are out of focus.

Any help appreciated.

Hi PhotoGP,

It is normal that the shooting frequency slows down after a couple of shots since the camera needs to process and safe the image data first. This is not done in real-time. So if you fired several shots in Hi+ the buffer memory is full and needs to be processed. This is indicated by the red light flickering whilst data is written to the memory card.

If pictures run out of focus try to use AF-C so focus can follow the object.
