Imaging edge connectivity problem with android

Hello there.
I have the a6400. One of the reasons I bought it was to connect it with my android in order to have it as a monitor. I have the one plus 6. Each time I try to connect it it gives me an error message that the connection was cancelled.
Could you please help me solve this?
I would appreciate a lot your help

Hi, did you manage to fix your problem? I bought camera with wifi with the same reason. And telephone doesn't see device at all..
