Play Memories for Macbook

Hi,

Could do with some help - I have a Sony ILCE-7M2 or Sony Alpha 7ii and I am having so many problems with it. For starters I have a MacBook which uses macOS Catalina.

I have downloaded it but I cannot open it, I get an error message which says: 'play memories home needs to be updated' The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information.

However the version I have downloaded appears to be the most up to date version. When I researched with apple it says ' 32-bit apps are no longer compatible with macOS. If you have a 32-bit app, please check with the app developer for a 64-bit version.' As the Catalina operating software is a 64- bit technology.

Can anyone help?
