sony a7 mark II video output spec from HDMI

I have a sony a 7 mII camera.

I would like to know the exact specification of the video signal coming out from the HDMI connection.

I like to buy an external recorder but before I do that I like to know the exact characteristics of the output that I'm going to get from the HDMI.

As far as I know, this is what the HDMI is outputting (reading many other forums):

resolution Full HD 1080p

4:2:2 (only when the video is externally recorded)

8-bit depth

This is the most important question for me:

What about codec and type of compression? (is the video already compressed from the HDMI?)

If it is compressed what is actually using? (the same codec settings used to record the video internally?)

8bit is the compression. Aside from that there is nothing else you need to take care of.
