Sony A7 II not going into sleep mode when close to the body

Hi everyone,

My Sony A7 II is set up to sleep after 1 minute with no use, and it does so when I'm holding it on my hand or it's on a tripod. However, when the camera is around my neck and close to my body, it simply won't get into standby mode. I have set it up to use only the LCD Monitor, so the EVF is off, but my guess is that the sensor that would turn the EVF on is still working and that's preventing the camera from entering into standby. Does anyone know how to solve this?
