Hi I have tried to down load stills and video but have established Playmemories home is not compatible with this camera, my A6400 was. I connect the camera using the USB cable and it displays DCIM in the file menu on the Laptop. When I open this file all my stills are there but no video files. The videos are working on the camera during playback but don't transfer to computer?

This is becoming a frustration as Play memories video editing and transfer from camera was seamless and intuative, so what am I doing wrong that's stopping me from downloading Video and also capability of basic edit functions of the video's.

I have deleted Playmemories from my laptop and tried to make sense of Image edge desktop.

I love the camera and is a definite up step from my A6400 but so frustrated at the moment and any help would be greatly appreciated as I am a technology Duh! it has to be something I am missing as the bottom line is I am able to download RAW Jpeg stills but cant download Video to Laptop.

It's not going to be in the same file list, have you checked all the USB files? Videos are usually in a completely different folder.
And as @Marino.Manolo said, it's better to use imaging edge, or the new app, Creator's cloud app.
