Can someone tell me if new xperia devices like xperia 1 still uses the old phot numbing / naming? DCG-001 and so? Did sony followed other smartphones in numbing by date and time?

My Xperia one still used the same numbering scheme (DSC_XXXX.jpg) and saved in the same (/DCIM/100ANDRO) directory. No info about the Xperia 1 Mark II yet.

Are you satisfied with your experia 1?

I'm considering buying the xperia 1 mark 2 but some what hissetating due to my experience with the xperia z5 premium of overheating, poor touch response and app crashes.

Totally satisfied with it. The screen ratio is brilliant, it's snappy and never crashes. The only issue is the fingerprint sensor that may stop detecting randomly. But I hear there's a promised fix next month.
