Update Centre and Album issues since software update

So the software update on my Z1 was finally available and I did it a week or so ago. Other than the battery draining faster than previously, I have two issues I've been unable to resolve...

My Update Centre app has vanished. I can see it under settings > apps > all apps, but I can't open it. How can I get this back please?
My album used to show photos from Picassa and Dropbox (which I sync to) as well as photos stored locally on the phone but now doesn't. How can I amend this please?

That is rather strange.

Check if you can access Update Center via Settings > About phone > Software update.

If not, check if the app may have been disabled in the same menu as you found it. Settings > App's > All > Update center.

If its not disabled check if you're able to clear data for it.

To the same for the album application and check if you can get the sync channels back into the album application.

Found the update centre the way you suggested but after a clear data it's now showing back in my apps, thank you.

Did the same for album and I can't see Dropbox but Picassa, Facebook and the rest are now back. Maybe I imagined the dropbox album before...?

I use dropbox myself in my Xperia Z1 but no dropbox album in the album application in my phone either. So you may be right.

MUst have totally imained it then! I can access from the dropbox app anyway.
