Enter key oddity

Experiencing an odd issue with the Enter key on my Z1. In certain apps, the Flava app for example, I can't enter keywords because tapping Enter key adds a space after the keyword. I also have a Galaxy Note 8.0 with the same app, and entering keywords behaves as expected meaning the keyword is added to my list when I tap Enter key.

Another app giving me grief is the Best Buy app. If I try to perform a search, the Enter key inserts a newline in the search box, instead of initiating the search.

It's like the Enter key is not sending right key code. It could be the apps I'm using but I find it odd the apps work as I expect on my Note 8.0. Anyone else encountering this issue?

I had the problem when I was filling a form in on the Web. Whenever I hit enter it just inputted the previous word again! Think it was just a dodgy mobile website.because it worked fine on the desktop version.
