After i had installed the new software today i was unlocking the phone with fingerprint as usually then it had disappeared from the options and i am from egypt so i have the finger scanning option from the start

You can check your software customization versions here

On your device dial *#*#SERVICE#*#* and choose Software info

Best option if things fail is a software repair with Xperia Companion

Another thing you can try

Goto settings , apps, select show system apps in the upper right corner

Find fingerprint, select storage and clear cache and data.

See what happens.

That's a pity.

Last resort is to do a software repair with Xperia Companion.

You can read about it here.

Hope it will bring your fingerprint sensor back to life.

BTW Did you clean the fingerprint sensor to see if that is a solution?
