Black dots on camera sensor? Same problem as Xperia z

My 1 week old Xperia m4 aqua dual has a problem on the camera sensor, i never removed the back screen protector, never dropped my phone, i tried to remove it and test if the problem still persist, but yes the problem do persist, i tried submerging the phone to clean the phone, still, can anyone help me?

If you have tried to clean the camera lens without success, I suggest that you visit nearest service center to have your phone examined by a technician. You can contact your Local support for information about nearest service center and/or how to proceed with this in the best possible way.

Ok but if i took the phone to the service center, how many days will it takes them to fix my phone? Or will they replace it with a new device? and do the Xperia m4 use the same sensor as the Xperia z? Thanks im advance

Unfortunately, repairs may differ from market to market and are handled at a local level. Therefore, you would do best by raising these questions with your local support team.

Both M4 Aqua and Xpera Z features a 13 megapixel Exmor RS camera, but I'm afraid I do not have any information if they are indentical.

Hi! I have here a screenshot of my camera screen. My screen is okay but everytime I use my camera, I see this. It's like it's divided into a dim part and a lighter part. Can you help me why this is happening? Is it because my camera lens is dirty? It was okay a week ago and then suddenly, this happened. I would really appreciate if you can help me with this. You could try cleaning with microfiber cloth (or soft COTTON).

However, if the problem does not disappear, please check with SONY support (there may be dust UNDER the back panel - thus not user cleanable). Your phone should have warranty, so go and check it out!
