Tutorial mode

I went for a walk last night and pull phone out of pocket and must of set off some tutorial mode or something .

Anyway its completely messed up the phone and im struggling to use it effectively .

How do i get out of it ??

I think you are talking about demo mode @wertyu2007. To get out from demo mode, dial *#*#73556673#*#*.

in the phone number dial section ?

easier said than done as it hards to operate keys .

Could you check if you have the TalkBack function activated? This can be turned off via Settings > Accessibility > TalkBack > Turn it off.

To be able to scroll in the menus, you need to use finger. And to enter a menu/program you need to tap once to mark, then double tap to enter the marked choice.

i just got to setting but could not scroll down

i forgot i turned sound down whenever i select anything a women voice speaks telling you what you have selected

You definitely have the TalkBack function activated and also the Simple home activated.

When you are at Settings > press "Exit Simple Home" and you should be asked to turn off Simple home. When this is done, you can follow the steps in my previous post and the phone should be back to normal.

Note that, since you have TalkBack activated you still need to tap once to mark, then double tap to enter the marked choice even when exiting Simple home.

So i dont think im in demo mode .

i managed to do the number trick , after learning the press to select then double tap .

But it came up as activate demo mode not de activate .

So when i select anything a green line borders the selection and you need to tap to select you get a lady voice tell you what you have selected you then tap twice to activate that selection .

but i cannot or have not worked out how to scroll up and down in settings when i do finally get there .

Wow that was hard work ,

It was talk back thing you have to scroll with 4 finger tips or full hand for some reason .

It off now so , excellent
