Mobile networks/data doesnt work

As the title says my mobile network/data connection doesnt work, I have enabled it in the settings, I have The right network selected and the right network type selected. Yet when I try to use it, my phone acts just like I dont have aky connection at all. I have a signal and there is a circle with a line striking through it symbol ( like this 🚫) that I dont know what it means. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If you have enabled silent mode, press volume button and switch back to sound mode.

Ok so that signal was just the sound, now I know but do you have any idea why I cant connect to the internet with the mobile networks?

Wait, download internet settings? As far as I know I havent seen anything about it so I probably havent. Where do I start?
