Red light on my Sony KD55AG9

This morning I tried to turn on the television and nothing. I unplugged the power, gave it a few minutes and replaced the power.

Still it would not turn on.

We then noticed the small red led. That led has never lit up before, we didn't even know there was a red led.

All we have ever seen is the white light at the base of the set.

I unplugged again and left it for 5 minutes. This time, the set turned on using the remote.

The red led is still there and the television seem even more sluggish than after the previous software upgrade.

I have done a quick google and can only find a reference to a red flashing led. This red led is not flashing.

Anyone any ideas?

I know what the red light indicates.

I reactivated (temporarily) the Google voice thingy.

I have now deactivated it and the red light has gone.
