      <title>Sony KD-43XG8305</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This otherwise excellent TV has started randomly and intermittently showing the top of screen black ribbon (detailing the input source and the the definition on the left hand side and the time on the right hand side) and nothing on the remote control appears able to turn it off. It is particularly annoying during sports programs as it blanks out the score being broadcast!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have checked that I have the latest software installed and done a soft reset to no avail. Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a way to solve it?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hey anthonytownsend, this issue is under investigation with Sony and they are working on a solution, try the update then a factory reset and let us know if that worked with you as well.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
