I agree with Mooly01, but there may still be hope for repair.

I managed to find a locale selector for Sony Africa, try reaching out and see if there's anything that can be done.

Hope this helps!

- JD

My kid threw a spoon and hit the screen of my TV. There's a line in the TV but now the TV powers for about 4 seconds and goes to standby mode. I opened the back panel and realize that when I remove the screen cable, the power stays on but when I put back the screen connector, it goes back to standby mode. The TV model is KD 65AF8 and it's a 2018 made. What could the problem be? I'm in Ghana Africa and there are little specialist TV technicians here.

The problem would appear to be the damaged screen. It has been damaged in such a way that the TV recognises a fault condition and so shuts down.

You've answered your own question... working before damage occurred, not working now. I suspect it will be beyond any economic repair unfortunately.
