I recently purchased a Bravia Android TV and when I power it on, the video will only show a milky black screen (clearly, it's on but nothing is displayed). If I fiddle with resetting things or using the Google voice command long enough, something will happen and the display will "turn on" and the TV works fine. Any suggestions on what might be happening? We use only the smart features of the TV and have an AppleTV hooked up to an HDMI port. (I've unplugged the AppleTV to make sure there is nothing going on between devices and that does not seem to help or hurt the situation.).

Hi pacificjake,

I've searched everywhere on the Sony UK website, but I couldn't find this model. I believe the XBR series is for the US models not the UK, not sure if it'll be the same firmware and settings in the UK. I'd recommend getting in touch with Sony Community USA.

Cheers,

The_Black_Rose
